ARRAY Business and Marketing Analyst Named a Distinguished Young Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) Award Recipient for 2012

Chi-Lai Poon Recognized by AFCEA Northern Virginia Chapter at Award Luncheon

Greenbelt, MD – December 18, 2012 – Array Information Technology (ARRAY) announced today that Business and Marketing Analyst Chi-Lai Poon was recognized as a recipient of the Distinguished Young Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) Award for 2012 at a luncheon on December 14. Ms. Poon was previously named Young AFCEAN of the month in September of 2010 due to her many accomplishments and long-time commitment to the Northern Virginia chapter.

The AFCEA NOVA Distinguished Young AFCEAN award represent the next generation of leadership within the chapter and is given to members who demonstrate an exceptional level of accomplishment in support of the AFCEA NOVA chapters 7,200 members.

Ms. Poon currently serves on the leadership committee as the Vice Chair of Special Activities of Young AFCEA NOVA. She works directly with the Project Leads for each event in the special activities program and works with the Committee Chairs to ensure all Young AFCEA volunteers’ requirements are covered. In this capacity, she is responsible for engaging the 500+ members of the Young AFCEANs to support 15 different events throughout the 2012-2013 season.

Ms. Poon is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, in the Robert H. Smith School of Business Program. Ms. Poon also worked as an information technology analyst for the US Department of Labor.
