ARRAY employee Robert Wagner of the Advanced Technology Division (ATD) in Greenbelt, Maryland attended a month long training course at the International Data Center (IDC) in Vienna, Austria from September to October 2012. The IDC is the verification arm of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) which is located in the same United Nations Office as the IAEA. The class consisted of five trainees from different nations, and was the first of its kind to offer a hands on approach to the seismic technologies and products available to State’s Parties in support of the CTBT Treaty. The course was titled NDC Capacity Building/ NDC Analyst Training Course. Who: Array Information Technology will sponsor the Armed Forces Communication & Electronics Association’s (AFCEAN) Fall 2012 Mentor Protégé Night on Tuesday, November 13. ARRAY has been a significant sponsor of all the Mentor Protégé events with the Northern Virginia (AFCEA NOVA) chapter since 2009. What: Mentor Protégé Night is focused on helping to develop the future leaders of both industry and government. The event brings together emerging leaders and seasoned professionals to share ideas, and help develop the next generation of leaders in the federal IT industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with senior leaders from the government and military. Senior leaders will have the opportunity to discuss with young attendees how they have overcome challenges and progressed along a career path. Instead of formal presentations, AFCEAN will provide table topics that will encourage productive and helpful dialogue between mentors and mentees.
