ISO 27001 is the premier global security standard against which organizations certify their information security management systems. It requires systematic examination of the company’s IT risks and establishing a comprehensive set of IT controls and other requirements to deal with unacceptable risks. As part of this certification, ARRAY has also implemented a management process to ensure that security continually meets changing needs.Bijan Samanta, ARRAY’s Quality Program Director, said, “The effort required to achieve this certification was significant and represents the significant commitment ARRAY has made to mission assurance.” Samanta also oversaw ARRAY’s efforts in 2010 to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification and to get independently appraised at CMMI-DEV Level 2.
