Greenbelt, MD, 10/22/2020 – Array Information Technology (ARRAY) is pleased to announce that Stephanie Ackman, ARRAY Director of Information and Cybersecurity, has been selected as a finalist for WashingtonExec’s 2020 Pinnacle Awards. Ackman joins five other highly accomplished finalists in the category of Cybersecurity Industry Executive of the Year for a private company which recognizes mission-focused industry executives and government officials who work every day to put the technological needs of the nation first. Winners will be announced at the virtual award ceremony on November 12.

Ackman was selected as a finalist for this award based on the measurable impact she has made to several high-profile client programs as well as her significant impact within ARRAY. During the past four years, she has been the Cybersecurity Lead for 22 DoD Programs and directly involved in delivery on four of those programs – an Air Force ACAT 1 system with congressional oversight and three Army and Air Force ACAT 3 systems. As a CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional and CISSP-ISSEP Information Systems Security Engineering Professional, Ackman promotes a strong cyber posture across ARRAY and encourages close collaboration between cyber professionals and IT staff, engineers, and developers.

“Since Stephanie joined ARRAY in 2015, she has consistently helped us improve our understanding of cybersecurity across all programs while also taking on a leadership role with guiding and developing her teams,” said Axel Foley, VP Air Force Operations. “Currently she is leading our CMMC implementation as well as efforts to establish a standard cybersecurity health assessment criteria. She continues to be instrumental to our growth in ensuring that ARRAY excels at cybersecurity milestones.”

Ackman also provides mentorship through one-on-one sessions to understand in dividual career goals and establish a tailored certification path that feeds into the individual’s personal development plans. She is also actively involved with ARRAY’s internship program to recruit new cyber talent from local colleges, most frequently with Troy and Auburn University.

“I am honored to be recognized with such an esteemed group of individuals,” said Stephanie Ackman, ARRAY Director of Information and Cybersecurity. “Cybersecurity has traditionally been regulation and process centric, and at ARRAY I’ve been encouraged to think outside the box and take risks. Being able to innovate while working on a team that maintains its focus on client intimacy has been both exciting and meaningful to be part of.”

As ARRAY prepares for the future, Ackman is also actively working to ensure ARRAY continues to excel at cybersecurity milestones and grow its qualified team of individuals to achieve customer mission. Learn more about ARRAY’s cyber impact by visiting arrayinfotech.com/solutions/cyber.
